A.D.L. stands for AL Design Lab.
It is a creative education platform for hairstylists, salon owners, and hair designers who want to develop stronger design skills, technical control, and brand expression.
Based in Bangkok, A.D.L. shares Japanese hair design methods through practical seminars, hands-on courses, creative shooting sessions, and future professional tools.
Courses
01. ADL Foundation Cut
A 3-day foundation haircut course focusing on one length, graduated bob, layers, and section theory. Designed for hairstylists who want to build a strong technical base in Japanese haircut structure.
Duration: 3 days / once a month
Capacity: 12–15 students
Level: Basic to intermediate
02. ADL Texture Design
A 2-day texture design course focusing on slide cut, stroke cut, chop cut, zone thinning, and natural movement. This course teaches how to create softness, airiness, and personalized texture.
Duration: 2 days / once a month
Capacity: 10–12 students
Level: Intermediate
03. ADL Signature Perm
A 3-day perm design course covering digital perm, cold perm, and haircut-connected perm design. This course focuses on creating natural movement, soft volume, and salon-friendly perm styles.
Duration: 3 days / once a month
Capacity: 8–10 students
Level: Intermediate to advanced
04. ADL Visual Branding Session
A creative direction and photography session for salons. Each salon brings its own model and concept. Kakeru Miyauchi directs and photographs the session. Light image data will be delivered, with one professionally retouched image included.
Duration: 60–90 minutes per salon
Capacity: Up to 5 salons per session
Suitable for: Hair catalog, salon image visuals, campaign visuals, and creative work
Instructor
Kakeru Miyauchi
Kakeru Miyauchi is the Art Director of AL in Nagoya, Japan, and AL etro Bangkok. As a hairstylist, photographer, educator, and creative director, he has built a career around the integration of hair design, visual storytelling, and personal expression.
His work has earned multiple competition awards and has been featured extensively in Japanese professional beauty magazines and industry publications. He is also an active seminar educator, sharing his expertise in haircutting, perm design, and Japanese straightening techniques with hairstylists across the industry.
What defines his work is a holistic approach to beauty and design. Combining hair, makeup, photography, and creative direction, he does not simply create hairstyles—he creates complete visual identities that reflect the individuality, character, and lifestyle of each person.
